When you visit the Museum during Red Shoe Day wearing a pair of red shoes you will be eligible for an exclusive buy one get one free admission ticket discount and will also be entered into a drawing for a free Family Membership to the Museum and a bag of Wizard of Oz gift items from the Museum Shop.

Museum guests will also be able to turn any regular pair of shoes they are wearing into red ones* from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Museum Atrium or create glitter art shoes at Creation Station all day long.

In additional to all these other great prizes and activities, Museum Members wearing red shoes will receive a 20 percent discount on items in the café and shop and all Museum visitors will be able to meet the original ruby red shoe owner, Dorothy and several other costume characters from Oz in the Museum’s Wizard of Oz exhibit from 1-3 p.m.

All activities and materials are included with paid Museum admission.
