Jazz at Barking Legs makes its debut with this fine, young quartet led by New York pianist Mara Rosenbloom. Her quartet features Darius Jones, Downbeat's 2010 Rising Star on alto sax. It will be a rare treat having a NYC-based jazz group passing through Chattanooga, and the prospect of hearing Mara on our 1916 Steinway grand piano is eagerly anticipated.
