Shed that winter skin and bring on the artful glow with a night dedicated to self-care and celebration of womanhood and women’s creations – all inspired by the fabulous strong art by our special exhibit artist Verina Baxter.

On this night enjoy a glass of wine or pick up some chocolates from Dipped Fresh. You can discover your inner belly dancer with Zanzibar, learn to meditate with Victoria Priest of Peace, Strength, Yoga, empower yourself by trying burlesque with Party Girls Dance & Fitness Studio, or take a self-defense class with Zirkops (class 6:30-7:15 pm). You can see the latest designs of Chattanooga Designer Ongeleigh Underwood with Temperate's live model show, and learn about the kinds of natural fibers in the clothing as you try your hand at weaving with Fiber Farm. You can awaken your discover beauty through your senses as you learn to make your own aromatherapy, discover the power and taste of tea with Wildflower Tea Shop and Apothecary, design your own lip color with Elea Blake, or relax into a mini massage from SpaGo. Or you can meet some of the female artists whose work is available in the museum store including 423 soaps, Jewelry by Christina, Bean and Bailey Ceramics, Susan Parry, and Connie Hornsby.

And like all of these presenters, you too can be inspired by the strong sculptures of Verina Baxter and create your own work of art.

Bring your daughter, mother, sister or girlfriend and make a resolution for a new year celebrating your own girl power!
