Join Aquarium educators and guest experts for a monthly nature club, especially for children ages 5-12! The Tennessee Aquarium Nature Nuts come together to connect children and their families to the amazing diversity of nature in our own backyards and around the world. Our goal is to kindle a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. Chattanooga is located in a forest so it’s our natural habitat! Learn to identify trees and explore the forest to find out who are trees’ BFF’s. We’ll build a tree with our own bodies and play a game (with candy!) to learn what trees need to survive. To identify trees, we’ll use a very grown-up tool called a key. You’ll like it! It sounds hard, but if you can look at a hamburger and a hotdog and pick the one that is flat and circular, you can use a key!
