This exhibition of 40 large-scale prints presents an extraordinary look at the intersection between popular music and remarkable photography.

Since the 1950s, rock 'n' roll has developed as a significant musical movement in contemporary culture. It continues to inspire and entertain audiences throughout the world and shapes fashion, language, politics and community.

The exhibit features many notable musicians, songwriters and performers of the last half of the 20th century beginnning of influential Blues musicians and early innovators such as Elvis Presley, through the British Invasion, protest music and the Psychedelic 60s, soul music, metal, glam rock, reggaw, punk, grunge and ending with hip-hop recording artists such as Tupac Shakur and Jay-Z.

As part of the Sound and Vision experience, Hunter visitors are invited to the in-gallery audio lounge featuring full/matrix surround sound recordings by some of the artists showcased in the exhibition. Hear music from Bob Dylan, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, The Doors, David Bowie and more.
