Open the Doors to amazement, and bring your friends and family to S.O.A.R on St Patrick’s day!

Come spend the day with Birds of Prey--hold an Owl and have your picture taken with the world famous hang gliding Eagle, Osceola.

Have your kids pet a screech owl and see an incredible vulture soar over their heads.

You can also take a ride on a Hang Glider, so you can see a bird and actually be a bird too!

Save Our American Raptors (S.O.A.R) announces its first annual fundraising event on March 17, 2012. We are spreading awareness for our planet so you too can be green on St. Patrick’s Day!

S.O.A.R. will be hosting this free event at the Lookout Mountain Flight Park Landing Zone. Bring the whole family for children’s activities, artist booths, a silent auction, and a live birds of prey program. Learn about the Peregrine Falcon Restoration Project and find out where Lookout, a released Peregrine Falcon, is now. With the use of a satellite telemetry backpack, we’ve followed Lookout all the way to Honduras. Come learn about the amazing migration of Lookout and meet a real Peregrine Falcon.

The educational events will be followed by a celebration, which will include dinner, beer, and live music for a donation of $10.
