From Bob the Builder and fascinating science to fairy tales and traveling the world, Summer Camp at Creative Discovery Museum offers a variety of themes, lessons, and excitement for ages 4 - 5 and children in rising Kindergarten through rising 5th grade. The Museum’s knowledgeable staff provides safe, fun-filled experiences that are ideal for first time or repeat campers.

“We plan activities around topics that are timely and fun for kids of all ages,” states Lynne Mulligan, Creative Discovery Museum’s Senior Programs Manager. “The kids also really enjoy getting to know our staff and making friends.”

Half-day camps are available for 4 and 5 year olds, providing a great first-time camp experience. Museum staff ensures a safe, fun environment with Museum play, theme-related crafts, cooking lessons in the Culinary Corner, and a variety of activities that relate to the camp’s individual theme.

Each full-day camp experience will include a field trip, cooking lessons in Culinary Corner, creative crafts, and exclusive time spent in the Museum. Themed projects and activities make each week an entirely new experience.

“We get so many repeat campers that it’s like seeing family coming back time after time,” continues Ms. Mulligan. “Many of our Educators have been working at the Museum for several years and look forward to seeing the kids they know come back and forming relationships with new campers, as well.”
