Join us for a talk by very special guest Dr. Tritobia Hayes Benjamin, associate dean of the Division of Fine Arts, College of Arts and Sciences, professor of art history, and director of the Gallery of Art at Howard University. Dr. Benjamin is a renowned scholar of African American history who was also a student of Lois Mailou Jones and offers incredible insight into the artist, her life and her work. This evening is free to all university faculty and students, members of the Bessie Smith Cultural center and to Hunter members.
