Enter a world of mayhem…Magical Mayhem. This fall, children ages 8 – 12 may experience Magical Mayhem on Tuesdays from September 7th through October 12th. The magic will take place every evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. as a part of Creative Discovery Museum’s after-school program, Club Discovery.

Club Discovery is a free, inclusive after-school program designed to engage children (with and without special needs) in learning through creative exploration, with the guidance of Museum experts in the arts, sciences, and through the Museum’s exhibits. “Seeing kids of all abilities interacting with each other, Creative Discovery Museum staff members, and members from the community is priceless,” said Lynne Mulligan, Programs Manager for Creative Discovery Museum. “This after-school program includes a different theme every session to create a unique environment in which the children learn and interact.”

Magical Mayhem will be the theme enchanting kids this fall. During their time at Club Discovery’s Magical Mayhem, children will be learning through one-of-a-kind activities. Along with the magical theme, children will be taking part in some specific activities such as potion making and performing magic tricks. Castle building, optical illusions, and concocting magical foods will also be on the list to captivate and educate the kids.

“Club Discovery’s Magical Mayhem offers an ideal opportunity for children with and without disabilities to interact with each other in a safe, fun environment and explore the Museum,” concluded Ms. Mulligan.
