First Tennessee and Re:Start – The Center for Adult Education will celebrate the 50th anniversary of this agency May 13 at 6 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre with a presentation by Erin Gruwell, the young teacher who took a classroom of students from a life of dead ends and constant pain to a life filled with dreams and a future.

Individual tickets to the event are $15.00. Schools who arrange for groups to attend will receive a discounted rate of $10/ticket.
