What we do
The FJC serves residents of Hamilton County and the City of Chattanooga by co-locating services in a trauma-informed environment to:
- address intimate partner and family violence
- address abuse of older adults through elder justice services
- address human trafficking
Values (What We Believe)
We Believe…
Every person has the right to live free of fear and violence and every person should have a place to tell their story. Nourishing hope in survivors creates pathways to healing and thriving.
True collaboration and transparency allow us to become the best version of ourselves for our survivors.
Vision (what we see in the future)
The Chattanooga Hamilton County Family Justice Center is committed to providing safe spaces where survivors’ needs are met, children protected, and hope realized. FJC staff, community partners, and allies work together with transparency, respect, and trust. We share goals that ensure all voices are represented, promote healthy safe families, engage neighborhoods and schools, and drives social change and justice for survivors and their families.
Mission
Our mission is to meet people where they are and provide inclusive survivor-centered services that promote healing, transformation, and hope for the future; foster public safety, and drive social change through education and coordinated community collaborations.
