The School of Music at Southern Adventist University announces an uplifting concert by the Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Collegedale Church of Seventh-day Adventists on campus. Music professor Laurie Redmer Cadwallader will direct the concert.

The concert’s repertoire includes Romeo and Juliet, TH 42, CW 39 by Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky, Symphony No. 35 in D major, K. 385 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, op. 30 by Sergei Rachmaninoff. This final concerto will feature local pianist Jason Duroy; he wishes to dedicate it to one of his professors, Sigrid Luther, with whom he studied the piece as an undergraduate student.
