The School of Religion at Southern Adventist University welcomes TV host, researcher, and epigraphist L.S. Baker Jr., PhD, to present an archaeological lecture titled “Raging Bull and Peaceful Hippo” on Monday, March 9, at 7 p.m. in Lynn Wood Hall chapel on campus.

As associate director of Andrews University Press in Michigan, Baker serves as the managing editor of the Andrews Study Bible and the Andrews Bible Commentary volumes. He is a research associate with the Institute of Archaeology at Andrews as well as the Lanier Center for Archaeology at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Baker co-hosts Inside the Bible on the Hope Channel, directs the Builders of Faith online ministry, and spent two years as a missionary in Micronesia.
