Bluesfrog & The Georgia Rhythm Crickets is a North Georgia/Chattanooga area-based band that has existed in one form or another since 2007. Bluesfrog has a wealth of original material that draws from influences like The Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, The Band and classic blues stretching back to Robert Johnson. They also have deep roots with Reflection Riding - band member Paul-Erik Bakland began volunteering in 2013, primarily helping with our herp collection and leading various reptile and amphibian related programs, as well as feeding the animals. He even presented and defended his thesis on amphibian disease ecology at Reflection Riding to complete the Environmental Science Masters Program at UTC. He says, "RR holds a very special place in my heart not just because of the history I have with it but because it’s mission is something I view as incredibly important."
