A new view of God and its effect on well-being - March 26
Learn of the Bible's great promise - to feel and live with divine love, a heavenly love, here and now. Come with no expectations and leave with no limitations.
Our presenter, Phillip Hockley, of Wales, United Kingdom, is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. Humble beginnings and hard knocks taught him the value of being honest and hard working, but it did not last into adult life. An increasing sense of inner emptiness led to a pathway of drink and drugs.
In the early 1990s a spinal injury led to physical handicap. At a Christian Science lecture he was healed of all his diseases, and of his hardness toward the message of the Bible - telling us of God's great love for each one of us. The perspective of God and reality that Mary Baker Eddy's Christian Science textbook "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," opens up is one that offers freedom from whatever in our lives seems painful, debilitating, or limiting.
Phillip is available to interview by skype, phone, or zoom. Please contact readingroom@chaChurch.com for scheduling.
