What is rape culture? What do I do if my friend tells me they've been assaulted? Are rape jokes just harmless fun? Is catcalling a compliment?
In this class, we will dive into the basics of rape culture, answering these common questions in society, and learning how to be a better advocate and ally for victims and survivors of sexual violence. We will break down terms that you hear all the time, but are too afraid to ask the real definitions of, such as the difference between rape and sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment.
