This year we are celebrating the 28th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Signed into law on July 26, 1990, the ADA protects individuals with disabilities from discrimination in all areas of their life. From employment, transportation, services, and communications, the law makes sure that individuals with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. For 28 years, this law has promoted equal access, protected, and served all people with disabilities. That’s worth celebrating!
