Go on a fishing adventure like no other when Dr. Zeb Hogan, National Geographic explorer and host of the Nat Geo WILD series Monster Fish visits the Aquarium. He’ll share behind-the-scenes stories of his adventures to find, study and protect the world’s largest freshwater fish and their habitats. Hear the real “fish stories” about the scientists and locals who live along the banks and are joining efforts to protect fresh water and aquatic animals. You’ll discover what it takes to catch and track these amazing aquatic behemoths, as also told through our newest exhibition Monster Fish: In Search of the Last River Giants. This exhibit features amazing, life-size sculptures of monster fish, hands-on interactive exhibits and video installations that will put visitors face-to-face with more than 20 species of monster fish. This evening of big fish, big fun includes special Lake Sturgeon touch-tank programs, exclusive behind the scenes access to Arapaima training above the River Giants exhibit and experts on hand to talk about , Giant Australian Whiprays, American Paddlefish and Electric Eels.
