Trevor Watts is the only remaining founder member of the Spontaneous Music Ensemble that began in 1965 with John Stevens & Paul Rutherford. This group subsequently included Evan Parker/Derek Bailey/Dave Holland & Kenny Wheeler amongst others. The group innovated and developed a new musical language that is now used all around the World in improvised music. His own groups included Amalgam/Moire Music/Moire Music Drum Orchestra/Celebration Band. Other musicians Trevor has played with include Archie Shepp/Don Cherry/Steve Swallow/Bobby Bradford/Steve Lacy/Louis Moholo/Stan Tracey.​

Veryan Weston is an absolutely astounding pianist who has been active in European jazz and improvised music since the early 1970s. An inveterate musical explorer, Veryan has participated in a mind-boggling array of projects involved both superb musicians and artists in other media, as well as beautiful solo keyboard performance and theoretical explorations.
