Judy Smith, Co-Executive Producer and Inspiration of ABC’s Political Thriller, “Scandal” visits Chattanooga for the Bessie Smith Cultural Center's 30th anniversary.

With more than 8 million viewers across the world tuning in everyThursday, ABC’s Political Thriller, Scandal, has become a phenomenal since its debut in 2012. The lead actress of the show is Kerry Washington and her character, Olivia Pope, is partially based on former George H. W. Bush administration press aide, Judy Smith. Smith, who serves as the television series Co-Executive Producer, will visit the Scenic City onFebruary 4 to keynote the Bessie Smith Cultural Center’s Anniversary Luncheon. The luncheon will be held from 11:30 am – 1 pm at the DoubleTree Hotel in Downtown Chattanooga.
