Jimmy Dormire and The Infinite Line is a group rooted deeply in the "Blues, Southern Rock and Funk" with an inflection of Jazz. Jimmy having played with Atlantic Records Grammy nominated group "Confederate Railroad" for 14 years gave him great opportunity to share the stage with many greats including "Charlie Daniels Band, Marshall Tucker Band Little Feat, 38 Special and Dickey Betts from The Allman Brothers Band" etc. In 2008 Jimmy released "Premonition", artistically featuring all original compositions. In 2012 they formed the power trio "The Infinite Line" with Jimmy Dormire on lead-guitar & vocals, John McKnight on drums & vocals and Lex Luther on bass with occasional special guest Shannon Wickline on keyboards from the Charlie Daniels Band. The quest of their music is to move people with intense soulful deepness and ultimately an underlying "message of peace."
