The Chattanooga Music Club sponsors this 6th annual Patriotic Organ Concert. Tom Trenney, a leader among the younger generation of American organists, will be the featured artist as he plays the Auditorium's 1924 Austin Pipe Organ. Mr. Trenney has an extensive mastery of music literature and organ technique, is a superior improviser, and is known for his unique accompaniments to silent films. As part of his program he will accompany two silent films—One Week starring Buster Keaton, and Big Business starring Laurel & Hardy. Mr. Trenney, who will also play during the patriotic salute to Veterans and Military personnel, will be joined by trumpeter Zachery Schmidt and drummer DeJuan Hogans. Greg Glover of WRCB-TV3 will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Admission is FREE. Donations are welcome.
