Join Mise En Scenesters as we kick off the first in an ongoing series of MES events that pair up some of our favorite bands with some of our favorite under-seen teen movies with a screening of one of the coolest, cheesiest and most elusive of 80's teen films The Legend of... Billie Jean. We're also pleased as punch (we've literally never used that expression before, it felt a little weird but we're going for it) to announce our special guests for the evening local faves Whoremones and our guests of honor Ottawa, Canada's Peach Kelli Pop.

Just five bucks gets you in and assaults your eyes and ears with an evening's worth of fun you're unlikely to find elsewhere at such jaw-droppingly bargain basement prices. When you looked down at the sand and only saw one set of footprints that's when MES were carrying you. Carrying you to a land filled with wonder, strange films and rock n' roll.

The lovely and talented staff of the Barking Legs Theater will be on hand to offer up a wide (and reasonably priced) assortment of snacks, beer and beverages. If you don't come you probably hate cool things.
