The Young Women’s Leadership Academy Foundation, founding sponsor of CGLA, will hold the Odyssey 2012 – Engineering a Dream Luncheon and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at noon at the Chattanooga Convention Center. The event will feature Col. Eileen Collins, the first woman to pilot and command a U.S. spacecraft, and award-winning journalist Michele Norris, host of NPR’s All Things Considered. YWLAF will also present the second annual Supernova award,which will recognize women in greater Chattanooga who have distinguished themselves as innovators, leaders, entrepreneurs, role models, researchers, educators or service providers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
