In this 4-class series, we will learn the poses that are the foundation of hatha yoga. Get to know Level 1 poses well through a systematic approach. We will learn the names, as well as the basic alignment guidelines to build a stable pose and practice. Build a relationship with the poses, your body and other committed friends for yoga bliss!
This series is appropriate for all levels of practitioners who wish to deepen their connection to the fundamental poses of hatha yoga. For those who are just starting out in practice, please know this will help you to feel more empowered and comfortable in a public class setting. If you have been practicing for years and still feel tweaky or blocked in poses, come to learn the basic biomechanics that lead to more freedom and stability in your practice. Set your foundation well for a life long practice.
