Dear Poet in waiting,

Are you a poet waiting to be discovered or do you enjoy writing poetry as a hobby? Do you enjoy listening to spoken word? If so, then this event is for you.

The Chattanooga Hamilton County NAACP is excited to host our 6th Annual Black Ink Poetry/Spoken Word Contest.

DETAILS:

Ø Honoring 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes.

Ø Refreshments served.

Ø Contestants will interact with judges and audience to elaborate on motivations.

Ø There will be an adult (18 +) and youth (17 and under) division.

Ø Poetry must be free of vulgarity or derogatory content.
