Connor Pledger is a singer/songwriter based out of Atlanta Georgia with music inspired by blues, alternative rock, and pop hits. His music has a contagious new sound that easily promotes first time listeners to become all time fans. His music is said to resemble sounds of Dave Matthews’s band, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Blues Travelers and The Allman Brothers band. His original songs are extremely catchy and often have fans leaving shows while singing songs they just learned and heard. Pledger’s music is also able to capture the ears of both the young and the more experienced of listeners, creating an endless possibility for fans. Connor Pledger is an accomplished young musician with many original songs. He also plays rhythm and lead guitar while singing in his band Moreland. His bluesy voice is original and gives him a signature sound. Connor is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Georgia in Athens Georgia, and is a part of the music scene associated there. He has performed music in cities such as Nashville Tennessee, New York City, London England and Paris France. Playing at many venues such as the Hard rock, he has become a veteran of the stage. In 2009 after playing a show at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, he ran into another recording artist that was interested in his sound, and is currently working with him on his next acoustic album which will be released in 2010.
