Just 2 Bucks! Count 'em Two! And we will be usin' both of them bucks to keep funding future Mise En Scenesters events. So do your part to make Chattanooga a safer place for outlaw film. Come out, enjoy an adult beverage and support your local film club.
Cropsey
One of the scariest documentaries ever made. Realizing the urban legend of their youth has actually come true; two filmmakers delve into the mystery surrounding five missing children and the real-life boogeyman linked to their disappearances. The plot sounds kinda Blair Witch but this movie is 100 percent real and we're awful excited to watch this one with a group.
The Burning
Based on same urban legend as Cropsey! This is one of the funnest/most underrated 80's slasher flicks. A former summer camp caretaker, horribly burned from a prank gone wrong, lurks around an upstate New York summer camp bent on killing the teenagers responsible for his disfigurement.
We'll also be up to our usual tricks with a reel of classic trailers for some of our upcoming summer Mise En Scenesters Events (got some UNBELIEVABLE films up our sleeve that you won't be able to see anywhere else including a Genu-ine Dazed and Confused outdoor moon tower beer bust and screening...ask yer favorite Mise En Scenester for more details) and during intermission we'll be screening I LOVE SARAH JANE a killer little zombie short from Australia's Blue Tongue Films collective and other strange fun from our M.E.S. archives.
