The North Georgia/Southeast Tennessee Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association is proud to be hosting the first "Everyday Heroes Gala". The evening will shine the spotlight on ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), widely known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Lou Gehrig died of ALS in 1941. Funds raised at the Gala are earmarked for the Muscular Dystrophy Association's ALS Division, which leads the worldwide search for treatments and a cure for ALS.The event will be Saturday, May 21, 2011 • 6:00 p.m at the Chattanoogan.
