The Chattanooga History Center will present a new program, the Historic Pub Crawl: Southside Edition at 5:30pm on Thursday, May 12th. Guides will be Maury Nicely, President of the Center’s Board of Directors and author of Chattanooga Walking Tour & Historic Guide, and Dr. Daryl Black, the Center’s Executive Director and Historian. Participants will be divided into two groups, with one group meeting at the Social, next to the Public House in Warehouse Row, and the other group meeting at Alleia, 25 East Main Street. The fee is $35 for the guided Crawl (includes a CHC membership and a t-shirt), and $20 for an at-your-own-pace Crawl (includes t-shirt). Food and beverages are not included in the fee. Enjoy the ambience, architecture, and history of Chattanooga’s up-and-coming south side district with knowledgeable guides. Crawlers will visit the Social, Alleia, Porkers, Urban Stack, St. John’s, the Terminal and will wind up at the Choo Choo.
