The Rosin Sisters are Barbara Panter, Jan Smith, and Ann Whitley: friends for decades in the rich roots music community of Atlanta. Each has been playing traditional country music in the Atlanta area and beyond for over 25 years, and joined together five years ago to further explore their love of singing and fiddle music, especially the rich heritage that comes out of the Appalachian and Southern regions of America. Their talents run wide to bring audiences a rich and varied program, incorporating voices, fiddles, guitars, and a banjo to highlight Barbara's interest in honky-tonk and Cajun music, Jan's interest in blues music, and Ann's interest in the music of the Carter Family era. Joining them onstage will be Barbara's husband Whit Connah, known far and wide for his soulful harmonica playing and singing, and her son John Ferguson, who will infuse his rich guitar work into their music. Whit and John will combine for a set that you don't want to miss.
