Zanzibar Studio instructor Lauryn Peterson brings the moves of bellydance into a fun, cardiovascular workout for this ten week session. A great way for anyone to learn some hip isolations and shimmy the blues away. Lauryn's upbeat and unique style will guide students through some non-traditional, even downright silly, variations on the standard bellydance movements you might learn in a technique class. This dance class will teach movement combinations and encourage you to find your own expression with each movement. An OPTIONAL recital will happen at the end of the session for anyone wanting to showcase what they learned. All are welcome!
