The music of the Pea Ridge Ramblers is the traditional music of the South, defined as music performed by the classic country string bands and songsters of the 1920s, ‘30s, & ‘40s. They also draw heavily from the melodies played and sung by the earliest settlers of America who brought their music from Ireland, Scotland, and England. The Ramblers are a four-piece string band. They incorporate the use of fiddles, mandolins, guitars, banjo, and voice.

Todd Gladson and Kenneth Johnson, were raised in Georgia. Over the past 10 yrs. they have captured & unleashed the essence of old time mountain music in brother duet fashion. Both shout the blues and the gospel, saw the strings & crack the jokes Both worked with Matt Kinman’s Old Time Serenaders, Stone Mountain’s Crossroads, and Gladson worked on the T.V. show “Outsiders Inn”.
The Ramblers have added Brian Volmer (Banjo/Fiddle) and Laney House (Bass/Banjo), to complete the full string band sound.
