After a successful debut in November, the MANIFEST arts showcase is back for its second event. This time, the talent will consist of three popular female singer-songwriters who are staples in the Chattanooga music scene. Dana Rogers, Amber Fults, and Holly McCormack will perform at the Camp House (1427 Williams St.) at 8:30 on Dec.10. Doors will open at 7:30. Tickets are $5, and additional donations will be collected for the Partnership’s Family Violence Center.
Each month, the talent, genre, and highlighted cause changes for
MANIFEST. December’s showcase not only features three accomplished female singer-songwriters, but does so in an in-the-round fashion, which provides the audience with a more intimate opportunity to familiarize themselves with the artists and the stories behind their songs.
“I wanted to use the “Sisters-in-Arms” label because I thought it was apt,” says organizer Christian J. Collier. “These are three women who are incredibly talented, skilled, and beautiful. They’re on the same musical circuit, but rarely have the opportunity to share the stage with each other. I wanted to change that and provide a venue where people could see something pretty unique and help support a great cause.”
In addition to being fixtures an and around Chattanooga, the artists in MANIFEST II have played such notable events as the Riverbend Festival, Nightfall, and the Chattanooga Invasion at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, GA.
