YPAC’s Drink & Debate Creates Conversation with Gubernatorial Candidates
2nd Annual Drink & Debate Scheduled for Oct. 14, 2010
The Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga (YPAC) will host the 2nd annual Drink & Debate political forum. The event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 14 at the Sheraton Read House on Broad St. The evening will focus on the platforms from the gubernatorial candidates in attendance, as well as questions answered by the candidates from audience members. The event is moderated by News Talk 95.3 personality Jammer Scott.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a meet and greet opportunity with candidates. Beginning at 7 p.m., a town hall style political forum will take place. Questions asked during the forum will come from young professionals and will address issues that are important to Chattanooga’s young professional community.
YPAC invites all Chattanoogans to be a part of the political forum. If anyone wishes to submit a question to be asked to the candidates, please email your questions to TiffanieCampbell@gmail.com. There is no guarantee your question will be selected, but if it is selected, you will be contacted by a YPAC board member.
The Sheraton Read House will provide a cash bar for adult beverages prior to and during the event. All ages are welcome to attend, but attendees must be 21 years of age to drink.
