"In honor of Club Lib's 5th Anniversary, The Public Library will feature a band who knows how to break all the rules - Here Come the Mummies. Join us Saturday, October 16, 2010, 7 p.m. - 11 p.m., at the Public Library - Downtown in Chattanooga, TN for a Halloween themed blow-out for grown-ups 21 and older. Club Lib chairs are Lisa and Dan Nausley and the presenting sponsor is Chattem.
Don't know the Here Come the Mummies? You will. They are a 9-piece band comprised of award-winning musicians who prefer to keep their real identities sealed. There have been rumors for years that there are multiple Grammy's in the band, which the band neither confirms nor denies. Ticket prices are $75 for general admission and $110 for VIP, which include a massage, valet parking, express check-in and a private VIP pre-party. All tickets include the concert, adult beverages and access to generous food stations. Sponsorship opportunities are available. For information about sponsorship or about donating an auction item, email Andria Davis.
Special room rates for the night of Club Lib are available at The Chattanooga Marriott located less than a block from The Public Library.
Money raised this year will fund the renovation of the Children's Department in The Public Library - Downtown and an expansion of children's materials system-wide. Currently, the Children's Department suffers from a leaky roof, worn carpet, and inadequate heating and air conditioning. With funding, we can protect our current collection and add to the materials children and their parents enjoy."
