Ten local celebrities will put on their dancing shoes alongside professional dancers for the third annual Dare to Dance set for Sept. 25.
The event will be held at the Alhambra Shrine Building located at 1000 Alhambra Dr. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with performances beginning at 8 p.m.
Emceed by Jed Mescon, attendees and local judges will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite. The evening will conclude with the grand reveal of the Dare to Dance 2010 Champion, which kicks off the after-party lasting until midnight.

The dancers will be paired with ballroom dancing professionals from Chattanooga DanceSport, National Dance Clubs at The Dance Floor and Fred Astaire Dance Studio.
Tickets and tables are available at a variety of levels and in limited quantities, beginning at $25 for economy seating. Tickets and People’s Choice votes are available at www.kidneyfoundation.com or call 265-4397. Black tie or cocktail attire is preferred.
All proceeds will benefit The Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area and the Unbroken Youth Initiative under the City of Chattanooga Department of Education, Arts & Culture. Programs serve individuals and families within Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.
