A night of live music from singer/songwriter Sara Groves comes to Chattanooga Sunday September 26. Presented by 10/40 Connections, a Chattanooga-based non-profit, the evening will raise awareness for human trafficking and raise funds for TraffickStop, 10/40’s anti-trafficking initiative in Nepal.
Sara Groves is an INO Records artist. Her most recent release, Fireflies and Songs, was named Album of the Year by Christianity Today as the “runaway” #1 choice.
The heartbeat of the evening will be to seek justice for the girls in Nepal who are being exploited. 15,000 people are trafficked from Nepal into India every year, mostly girls bound for brothels (US State Dept). The audience will be given opportunities to respond and help end trafficking.
The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Chattanooga at 3415 S. Broad Street on the southside of downtown Chattanooga, Tenn. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Monday August 23 at www.1040connections.org.
Tickets are $12.00 in advance and $15 at the door.
This event is welcomed by Calvary Chapel Chattanooga and produced by 10/40 Connections.
