On Thursday, August 19 from 4 to 7pm, La Paz Chattanooga will host an Open House to commemorate its new office space at 1402 Bailey Avenue.

The move, which was made possible by a grant awarded by the Lyndhurst Foundation, will allow La Paz to grow in capacity and client services, as well as to further expand its reach among the Latino community.

“We are so extremely glad to be in our new space,” said Stacy Johnson, Executive Director for La Paz. “Our move represents a growth not only for our organization, but for the community as a whole. Our clients are already getting used to the new place and feel a sense of pride and ownership.”

Representatives from La Paz will be at the new office during the Open House and invite the public to stop by for light refreshments and a tour.

La Paz Chattanooga is the leading Latino organization seeking to empower and engage Chattanooga's Latino population through advocacy, education and inclusion. Since its inception in 2004, La Paz has worked to build tolerance, opportunity, and mutual understanding, so as to create an environment in which cultural acceptance can thrive.
