Sponsored by FiveStar Professional Ranges, our annual “foodie” event is sure to be a pleaser with 5 local chefs as they try to wow our local celebrity judges.

It’s time for our Annual FiveStar Food Fight and the line-up this year is fired up! 2011 contenders are:

Wolfgang Poe, Wisteria Cafe
Jericho Michel, The Terminal
Anna Gipe-Scott, The Jaded Root
John Mills, Lupi’s Pizza
Nick Goeller, 212 Market

Let the games begin! It’s a foodie day where you get to see the chefs in action. First, the chefs will all be given the secret ingredient that they must incorporate (usually a protein, i.e. chicken, fish, beef…). Then they will shop for the rest of their dish purchasing everything they’ll need right at Chattanooga Market. Watch them pick out the freshest fruits, vegetables, spices, cheeses and more. From about noon till 3pm watch the chefs demonstrate their skills using FiveStar cooking ranges, a longtime Market sponsor. While there will be a winner announced by our panel of judges - it’s really just a friendly foodie fight!
