Caroline Doctorow is a singer/songwriter from Bridgehampton, New York who has released six recordings on Narrow Lane Records. She grew up in a literary family. Her father is renowned author E.L. Doctorow. Caroline quickly became enamored of the folk stars that she met through her parents, such as Pete Seeger, Judy Collins, Joan Baez and Mimi Fariña, whom she counts as a significant influence. She has worked with Nanci Griffith, John Sebastian, Barbara Lamb and many more esteemed folk musicians. Her most recent album, Another Country, featuring the music of Richard and Mimi Fariña, has been glowingly reviewed. Barbara Lamb is well known to Barking Legs regulars. Renowned for her work with Asleep At The Wheel, Barbara is simply one of the finest fiddlers anywhere. This should be an enchanting performance!

“She takes the Fariña’s timeless tunes and delivers them with a grace that’s pure and profound…”
New Times

“Doctorow has captured the stark beauty of Farina’s lyrics and melded it with her stunning vocal performances.”
