Shops on the North Shore will stay open late Thursday, April 22, with a variety of specials offers, food, fun and games from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. to benefit a good cause the Northside Neighborhood House.
Ten percent of all proceeds from sales and events go to the Northside Neighborhood House, an 86-year-old service organization that provides educational programs and assistance to families and individuals in need living north of the river.
All of us in the NorthShore Merchants Collective are committed to preserving and promoting the unique nature and eclectic personality of our neighborhood, said David Smotherman, NSMC President. We want to share that personality in a fun way through Night Out on the North Shore and, at the same time, benefit the organization dedicated to serving people in this area.

Bill Shores Frames & Gallery celebrates "Earth Day with Daniel Bigay" from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Daniel is an award-winning Native American artist and musician whose shell-carved jewelry and flutes will be on display. He will also be playing songs from his newly released CD "Red Man Thunder. Refreshments will be served. Same time, same place on Friday, April 23, Dr. Michael Abram will present a lecture on "A Cherokee View of the Night Sky: The Mystique of the Moon and Stars."
Chattanooga Theatre Centre presents Enchanted April on the MainStage at 7:00. Real-time captioning for the deaf and hard-of-hearing is provided during this performance. Tickets start at $10. The following night, Brewer Media sponsors Girls Night Out for the Friday performance of Enchanted April with complimentary adult beverages.

Parking is available throughout the NorthShore. Many businesses provide free patron parking in private, owner-operated lots. Hourly metered parking is available on the street; and there is no charge for parking on the street after 6:00 p.m. Parking is available in lots at Renaissance Park and at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre where the charge is $1.00 for two hours, $2.00 for four hours and $4.00 for all day. There is no parking charge in the Theatre Centre lot for patrons attending an event at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre.
