Ready to learn about your digital camera and howto take better pictures? This four-hour workshop will explore digital photography basics like how to use your camera, settings and functions, how to take a good photograph and how to transfer your pictures from your camera toy our computer to edit and print. Required equipment: Bring your digital camera to class!

These workshops are part of a series focusing on "Harnessing Technology," which targets lifelong learners who seek customized technology instruction. AVA is a member of Partners for a Livable Chattanooga, which strives to prepare our city for the aging of our citizens and aims to make Chattanooga a great place to live for people in all stages of life. All workshops are aimed at individuals who are 55 years of age or older and who are looking for beginner level instruction. These free workshops are made possible by a grant from the MetLife Foundation. * All four-hour workshops will break for lunch.
