Destiny Theatre Company proudly presents "Miss Evers' Boys" by David Feldshuh, directed by LaFrederick Thirkill, choreographer, Dawn Axam.

Based on true events, Miss Evers' Boys, which is set in Macon County Alabama, spans the period between 1932 through 1972, and focuses on the lives of four African-American tenant farmers, who are used by the U.S. federal government to study the effects of untreated syphilis. Known as the "Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment", this non-curative experiment, which was conducted on 399 Black American citizens, became the lengthiest known medical exercise on mankind in medical history.
