Two of Chattanooga's top acoustic acts will be together on the same bill. Both bands are chomping at the bit to strut their stuff at the Legs, and we can't wait to have them!

The Bluegrass Pharaohs are an eclectic group of Chattanooga musicians who have come together to create a contemporary, yet traditional, bluegrass band. They have pleased music lovers of all tastes with their original tunes and material ranging from the Stones, Fleetwood Mac and U2 to Union Station, Claire Lynch, Monroe and Stanley. The Barking Legs edition of the Pharaohs will include: Cassie Hooper, Tom McLaren, David Summers, Brian Massman, Ben Pedigo, Louie Wamp and Doug Barron.

At the heart of Sistren are the tremendous vocal talents of Kathy Veazey, Laura Walker and Sarah Sterchi. An acoustic band featuring the female vocalists from three of Chattanooga’s best bands, Sistren mixes influences from blues, bluegrass, rock, folk, gospel, R&B and the kitchen sink into this exciting new project, with John Rawlston helping out on acoustic guitar and vocals. The group writes their own music and also plays everything from standards to not-so-standards. Big time harmonious fun!
