Grammy winner Chip Davis has sold over 36 million albums. Of these, more than 20 million have been the Christmas music of Davis’ group MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER. The group’s name comes from an 18th century musical technique that we know today as the crescendo. Davis has explored new ways of creating music and discovered a style he calls “18th Century classical rock.” Since releasing its first Christmas album in 1984, MANNHEIM STEAMROLLER has infused new energy into traditional holiday music to become the largest selling recording artists of Christmas music of all time. This year the group is touring in support of the release of its new, limited edition 25th Anniversary Christmas collection. Their unique energy and talent have created such fan loyalty that audiences nationwide have made them part of their family holiday tradition. All seats are reserved from $29 to $59 plus convenience fees. Tickets go on sale Monday, September 14 at 10:00 am at the Auditorium box office and online at ChattanoogaOnStage.com. Charge by phone (423) 642-TIXS.
