The Tennessee RC&D Program and the USDA Farm Service Agency will be conducting three outreach workshops across the state. They are designed for small and traditionally under-served farmers and landowners, but all farmers who may benefit from these workshops are invited to attend. This year’s focus is on organic farming. Presentations will include the process of becoming a certified organic farmer, organic farming and conservation, farm loans for organic enterprises, and program assistance for certification.

The project is funded through a partnership with the USDA-Farm Service Agency (FSA) and the Tennessee Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Program. The workshops will be held on the following dates and locations:

August 27, at McDonald Farm, 16705 Coulterville Road, Sale Creek, TN

Onsite registration begins at 8:00AM. The workshop starts at 9:00AM and ends at Noon.
