Friends of the Festival is excited to announce that contemporary Christian artist, Steven Curtis Chapman, will headline The Coca-Cola Stage on Faith and Family Night at the 2009 Riverbend Festival on Tuesday, June 9th at 9:00PM.

After starting his career in the late ‘80s as a songwriter, Chapman has turned into one of the most prolific singers in the genre. He has sold over ten million records including two RIAA certified platinum albums and seven RIAA certified gold albums. Along with his Dove and GRAMMY awards, Chapman has won an American Music Award, has recorded 44 No. 1 US radio hits and been awarded 54 Dove Awards, more than any other artist to date. Since his recording career began in 1987, Chapman has recorded sixteen projects with Sparrow Records.

Riverbend is a nine day music festival located in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee every June. The festival is located on the 21st Century Waterfront along the Tennessee River. Boasting five stages of world class entertainment ranging from classic rock and jam bands to country, urban and bluegrass the festival draws over 600,000 patrons annually. Riverbend has a Children's Village, Bluecross Riverbend Run and Walk, a Marketplace and Fireworks Finale.

Admission Pins
Riverbend pins allow admission into the festival site every day of the festival. Children 10 and under are admitted FREE with an adult. Pins are available at all area Mapco Mart and Fast, Food and Fuel locations for $28 each until June 4th. Beginning June 5th, pins are available at all gates for $37 each. One night wristbands are sold at the gates for only $23.
