Rhyme N Chatt Interactive Poetry Organization presents its annual “Spoken Word Poetry Slam” in observance of April being National Poetry Month.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The event and contestant registration will start promptly at noon.
The entire community is invited to this event in observance of National Poetry Month. There will be adult and youth competitions in the traditional, performance and freestyle poetry competitions. Encourage people at your church, school and neighborhood to attend and participate. It’s only a $1 donation at the door. There will be cash, merchandise and organization membership awarded.
Rhyme N Chatt offers quality spoken word shows that prove that you don’t have to go to the A T L for an upbeat, entertaining spoken word event. No offensive language or subject matter will be tolerated and the interactive format allows the audience to “talk back” to the performers. This is a great afternoon for local church groups and families.
You will NOT be disappointed. Rhyme N Chatt events have been local crowd-pleasers for over 10 years.
Call Toni at 423/544-1597 or Marsha at 423/504-0361 for more information on the event and how to register to compete.
