The Association for Visual Arts (AVA), Chattanooga’s nonprofit visual arts center, is partnering with the State of Tennessee to host a free educational seminar on Wednesday, February 4 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at AVA’s headquarters located at 30 Frazier Avenue in the Northshore Shopping District.

The forum is aimed at providing artists and small businesses owners with beneficial information about several of Tennessee’s health programs including CoverTN, CoverRX and CoverKids.
Seannalyn Brandmier, Grassroots Coordinator of CoverTN, will serve as the keynote speaker.

“We are grateful that Ms. Brandmier accepted our invitation to come to Chattanooga to address the concerns and questions so many of artists and small business owners have regarding affordable health care coverage,” said Christa Mannarino, AVA’s Executive Director. “This coverage can really be effective and affordable –it’s a matter of navigating through the uncharted healthcare provider waters.”

To obtain additional information about this health care forum or to obtain a schedule of upcoming talks, please call (423) 265-4282 or visit AVA’s website at www.avarts.org.
